April 11- The Saw Franchise

When you think of horror franchieses what comes to mind. The Halloween Series ? The Nightmare on Elm Street Series ? The Friday the 13th series ? Arguable the most popular series today is the the Saw series. It's twist endings and new torture devises have become known to many horror fans around the world . I am writing this log because of what I had to deal with a few nights ago. A few nights ago I decide that since it was the " Final Chapter" and I am a big fan of the first three movies. The first film to was one of the first original horror/thrillers, that created an idea that many directors and writers have tried to deublicate ever since, and gave us a villian that will go down as one of the best in horror movie  and movie villian history. Saw 2 then gave us a different twist on the idea and added a pretty decent character into the mix with Detective Matthews ( who if the series would have been done right, could have went on to be Jigsaw's nemises, in my opinnion). It had a pretty good script that keep me captavied right to the end. When the third one came out it , the whole idea was waring a little thin, but the third movie still was a decent movie, had a decent script and put great characters into the mythology and had a decent twist at the end, that seemed like it would have been the logical end. Now I'm not saying that I ( like many people) am biased against movies with 4 movies in there series, done right we could have a amazing horror series the like that noone has seen. But of course they had to go and ruin it with the next pieces of shit in the line up. Now I saw, Saw 4 and it was a piece of shit, I decided after that I would not watch any of the other pieces of crap in the series intill the series was done. But then the " Final Chapter" allorded me. I thought what the hell, maybe they have finally done another good one and will end the series on a high note. I am here to tell you that Saw " The Final Chapter" Is the biggest piece of shit to ever come out in movie history. It is worst then any direct to dvd movie I have ever seen. I would rather watch Gamebox 1.0( former worst movie in my history of watching movies) Ten times in a row while listening to Justian Beiber, then ever have to watch that piece of crap again. To even comprenhend how bad this movie is you would have to go watch unfortunatly. The film seemed to do what ever 3d movie in the 80's ever did and try to gimmick the 3d, I thought we were pasted that phase in movie making. The script was just plain awful and seemed like a 5 year old wrote it, and I never once cared for any character or event in this intire film. That is my rant
